Which One is Right? Just Keep It the Way It Is?
Q.
I was baptized as an infant and so was my spouse.
Since there is no specific passage in Scripture saying infants of
Christians are to be baptized, isn't it OK for us to continue in our
church even if we don't exactly understand it?
A.
I doubt many if any Christians would claim that if a person joined
such-and-so a church that person would do everything perfectly.
Even once saved, we still live in a fallen world. However, at
the other end of the spectrum it is also possible to participate in
a correct practice for the wrong reasons. We should
study God's Word and strive to learn and grow in Him. Some
Christians are fortunate enough to be members of a church for 50,
60, 70 and even more years. Hopefully after such a time we can
learn more and more about God's revealed will from His Word.
