Poll on The Importance of Baptism

How one understands baptism determines one's definition of church membership.  For Baptists, only believers can be members of the church.  for Paedobaptists, believers and their children are members.  Therefore, to ask the question of how important is baptism is equivalent to asking how important is it to correctly understand who can be members of the church. 

Please let us know whether you think understanding baptism and subsequently church membership correctly is important and whether they are worth spending some time studying and writing books on.
