Dialogos Studies invites all readers to recommend insights into Scripture for inclusion in the papers. The primary goal of Dialogos is to produce documents which accurately reflect the Word of God (reference the Mission Statement). Therefore, anyone who can contribute to this effort is encouraged to submit material.
College students and seminarians looking for topics for term papers and theses are urged to look through these papers. Picking an appropriate section from a Dialogos paper can serve several purposes. Dialogos papers can provide students with seed thoughts to do papers on. The writing of those papers in turn can meet course requirements and help serve the broader church when those insights are submitted for inclusion in Dialogos papers.
Unless requested otherwise, all authors of original insights will be given appropriate credit in the text of the Dialogos papers.
To submit, all one needs to do is obtain a copy of the current revision of the Concise Version so it can be shown exactly how the new material fits into the existing paper. I will be happy to respond to any questions that might arise concerning this process.
For those working on a major thesis, I’d like to make the following suggestion. For the particular topic you choose to work on, read through the relevant Concise Version and search for a weak link, an Achilles heel in the arguments for the opposing side. Since the Dialogos format is very structured, it is possible to go through the flow of the arguments and determine where the error in interpreting the Bible has occurred. Develop your thesis, then, around this weakness thus showing how the interpretation you subscribe to is true to the Word of God. This approach will help provide a proper focus, proper direction to your efforts.
