This baptismal font is found in a church in rural Germany. It is approximately 800 years old. One question that is frequently debated is whether infant baptism had it origins in New Testament times, or whether it originated later in church history. Dialogos material at this point limits itself to what is to be found in the pages of Scripture. Not very many fonts such as this one have survived in such good shape. Many of them were severly damaged at the time of the Reformation.
